• Structure: The nature of this blended program will help you apply the theories you learn to practical business situations. You will be working on real projects for approximately 2 hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, and/or Thursday. The projects may be individual or team projects that can be done at your convenience.
• Assessment Method: This program has a pass-fail grading system. The assessment is done by your professor/director at the end of the program.

The modules of this program are:

1. Business Principles

This module covers a wide variety of topics that are related to the management of a company. It focuses on the major factors that affect the success of a business. It is designed to expose the student to the major functional areas in a business.

2. Foundations of Project Management

This module provides students with the basic concepts and fundamental knowledge of Project Management. From a project manager's perspective, students will follow projects through their cycle and learn how projects are initiated, planned, and executed and controlled within various organizational environments.

3. Project management tools and applications

This module addresses different software, tools, and applications that are used by project managers. You will learn the importance of each one of them and practice some of them by working on real projects from the industry. This gives you a great hands-on experience on top of the knowledge, concepts, and theories that will be explained in this module.

4. Leading projects in organizations

Leadership is an activity that is done by people, it is quite different from administrative paperwork or planning activities. This module is designed to provide students with insights linked to project leadership where students will explore the theories of leadership and provide application on real projects using different tools and practices that should be employed for effective leadership.

5. Project Integration management

This module addresses the integrative nature of the project environment. Through this module, you will focus on the people and processes that are necessary to achieve project integration. It deals as well with the methodologies, tools, and techniques, applied to project integration management.

6. Project Implementation & control

This module covers the in-depth matters that underlie the successful implementation of projects within organizations. You will explore and practice different tools and techniques that are used for project monitoring and controlling including the project’s cost, duration and quality.

7. Human resources and communication

Communication is considered as one of the most important elements of successful projects. Project managers are required to develop and run an integrated communications plans involving all resources and stakeholders. You will learn the main concepts, tools, and practices that should be employed for effective project communications management.

8. Procurement and financial management

In this module, you will gain a detailed understanding of the increased importance of procurement in different projects. In addition, you will practice different tools and techniques required to complete the purchasing process and a proper financial management that are needed to successfully complete the project.

9. Project scope and quality management

This module provides students with important knowledge about the main topics in the field of scope and quality management. You will learn and practice how to identify, analyze, and manage requirements for projects and deploy proven quality management tools and techniques. It also covers the methods to understand the boundaries of the scope and identify the approaches to embed quality into all the project processes.

10. Project scheduling and risk management

In this module, you will learn and work on different projects that are designed to empower you with the skills and techniques required to plan and schedule the project resources throughout the project cycle. You will also learn how to understand the project risk which is one of the most critical components of today’s project management.

Average Salary Expectation

According to (Indeed, 2020), the average salary for a project manager is $75K annually.

Scholarship and funding programs may cover up to 25% of the program tuition. They are given based on our assessment of your application and are valid until one month before the program starts.

Conditions

1. You should attend at least 90% of the whole program in order to be eligible for receiving the two certificates.
2. Absence without valid excuse should count for no more than 10% of the whole program

2. After successfully completing the program, you will receive all your certificates electronically free of charge.
3. A $100 (plus shipping) additional fee will apply for ordering a hard copy of your diploma certificate, internship certificate, and reference letter. Those hard copies will be issued in Toronto and shipped to your address. Shipping fees will range from $10 USD to $60 USD based on the shipping address.
